Formed in New York's East Village, ON THE LAM is a NYC trio that delivers a strikingly original sound that boasts a depth and integrity rarely heard in today's homogenized rock circles.

You could chalk this up to its core members' experience since singer/guitarist Chris Wiedemann spent some years at the helm of 50 Feet Tall and drummer Matt Friscia has played on various local bands' records, in addition to releasing records with Charlie's Pipe Dream and Team Rock-it.

ON THE LAM is making waves by landing their leading E.P. track "Replay" on the Magnet Magazine's music sampler (issue #48 Oct/Nov 2000) while organizing and promoting two Northeast/midwest tours. It's in the trio's current incarnation all this history comes into play.

Listening to tracks like Replay and Addictive Town, you might detect traces of everything from modern indie-rock and vintage Brit-pop, but at its core, there's something fresh, unexpected and indefinable that makes ON THE LAM a band that begs to be heard again and again.
